Wendy L. Kunkle

Wendy L. Kunkle is an Associate at Burns White who practices in the Litigation group. She focuses her work on addressing Medicare issues that arise in the resolution of workers’ compensation claims, advising clients on compliance matters regarding the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute, and the creation of Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements.

Ms. Kunkle began her work for the firm as a law clerk and summer associate while working toward her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University. While at Duquesne University, Ms. Kunkle was a student law clerk for the Hon. Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, a legal intern for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and a student attorney for the Securities Arbitration Practicum.

Ms. Kunkle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Business and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and was the recipient of the Richard C. Byrd Athletic Scholar Award.

Ms. Kunkle is located in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
