Burns, White & Hickton promotes six attorneys to Member status

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, January 2, 2009 — Burns, White & Hickton, LLC, attorneys at law, has promoted six of its Pittsburgh-based Associates to Member status as of Jan. 1, 2009.

Michelle A. Allan of South Fayette works in the Litigation Group preparing Medicare set-aside arrangements in the settlement of workers’ compensation claims. Ms. Allan received Bachelor of Arts degrees from both Indiana University of Pennsylvania (1996) and the University of Pittsburgh (1999). She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh (2002). She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations.

Michael J. Cremonese of Mt. Lebanon focuses on construction law and commercial law in the firm’s Litigation Group. He is a graduate of St. Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science (1989). He received his law degree from Duquesne University (1999). Mr. Cremonese is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations.

Daniel J. Hampton of Whitehall is part of the firm’s Transportation Group and focuses his practice in defending railroads against claims of occupational injury. Mr. Hampton received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh (1998) and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University (1995). He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

John Michael Steidle of West View, a Member in the Litigation Group, focuses his work in the insurance defense, general liability and construction areas. Mr. Steidle is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Beaver County and Allegheny County bar associations. He received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University (1999) and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh (1995).

Chad A. Wissinger of Franklin Park focuses his practice on construction law, commercial law and environmental law. He is a graduate of Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree (1995) and received his law degree from Boston University (1998). Mr. Wissinger is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations.

Megan Lulich Zerega of Mt. Lebanon focuses on occupational illness litigation and toxic torts in the transportation field and for other industries. A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree (1996), Ms. Zerega received her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University (1999). She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
